The country of Malawi is located in southeast Africa and is one of the smallest countries in Africa; however, although it is a small country it is well-known as "The Warm Heart of Africa" due to the people's famous friendliness. On our trips to Malawi, CFA team members have found this nickname extremely fitting as we have continually received a warm welcome and built lasting relationships with the people we meet there. There are quite a few elephants in the national park, yet poaching continues to be a problem as people seek the ivory from their tusks.
